​My life's purpose is to inspire people live larger, more adventurous lives than they ever dreamed possible.

I grew up in a small town and was too afraid to go to summer camp. I didn't get my first boarding pass until I had my college degree, but after I took that first flight and saw how much of the world there was to explore, I haven't looked back.

I traveled full-time for nearly 6 years before making a 6 year stay in Washington, DC to work at National Geographic. In April 2019 I returned to full-time travel when I accepted a role as Cruise and Travel Director with Holland America Line.

I've visited all 50 states and over 40 countries. In 2016 I completed a quest to visit 100 National Park sites before the National Park Service turned 100 on August 25, 2016. 

I'm a "good story" addict and seek to help people effectively communicate their ideas and messages. I'm a video editor and writer, but I'm always looking for new ways to tell great stories. Even if it means facing my fears - like trying out stand-up comedy (an adventure I'm currently on).
